BATGIRL Plus THE RIDDLER Equals LOVE!

OK, I'm sort of teasing our Friend Rebecca here a little bit with the title to this post, but once you see the photos you'll know what I mean. Here's a wonderful set of photos sent in to us by her. This past Halloween, Rebecca and her Boyfriend dressed-up as BATGIRL and The RIDDLER! Their costumes were really great but they didn't stop there. They also made a very clever custom-made Jack O' Lantern Pumpkin with the Batgirl Logo Symbol, a Heart, and a Question Mark for the Riddler. There was also some nice chalk art done to complete the outdoor decorations. Overall, everything looked AWESOME! I think they had a great time. Thank you Rebecca for sharing these fun pics. Plus, that Pumpkin looks very cool all lit-up, good job!

Some AMAZING BATMAN COSTUME PHOTOS From Halloween 2011

Check out these amazing photos sent in by Bat-Blog Fans who dressed as BATMAN Characters for Halloween! I'm posting them in no particular order, just sort of like as they were received. Randall was Two-Face & looks pretty twisted! "Batmitereturns" dressed-up as the Joker for his 2 children, who were Batman and Robin, the Dynamic Duo! Luis, in Missouri, was the Dark Knight & while on patrol he ran into Ronald McDonald! Also, our friend Kevin put on his awesome"Dark Knight" Gear & ran around with Poison Ivy! Thanks to everybody who submitted photos this year. It's been a nice event & ALL of these costumes are GREAT!

BATYY HALLOWEEN - Robin and The Riddler in Battle!

RIDDLE ME THIS, "What is it that no man wants to have, yet no man wants to lose ?" Answer: A Lawsuit! Ha Ha! Sorry, I had to do a wacky riddle because this next group of pictures feature the Riddler! Yes, Gotham City has recently been threatened by the Prince of Puzzles. But wait! Robin is on the case & ready to fight crime! What will happen next?!

These fun pics were sent in by our friend Jessica to share the Halloween Costumes that her & her friend Linh made this year. Jessica is Robin & Linh is the Riddler! Both costumes are totally great! BATTY HALLOWEEN - The JOKER Has Gone Wild!!

I woke-up this morning to find a ton of great Halloween Costume Photos sent in by BAT-BLOG Fans who are going totally crazy this Halloween! Crazy, like the Joker! Yes, a few pics were all Joker-related so I thought I'd do one post to cover them all. Now, to be fair, I'm posting them in the order that I got them. But they're all completely GREAT in their own way. Check 'em out!

The 1st pic is our friend Paul who did a great job with the Joker make-up. I also like his pose, he looks like he is a little bit insane, ha ha ha!

Next up is a nice Family Portrait with Batman, Joker, & Robin! Our friend Lauren is the Joker & his Buddy Kman is Robin, the Boy Wonder! Great pic guys & you all look AWESOME!

Now, last but not least, is our friend Maggie. She said she found this Purple Jacket in a Thrift Store, it's perfect! What a good find! Plus, the rest of her costume & make-up is great too. Check out these awesome BATMAN AND ROBIN HALLOWEEN COSTUME Photos sent in by 2 loyal Bat-Blog Fans! The 1st one is from our friend Mike & this is a picture of his Son Jonah dressed as Batman's Sidekick, Robin! This is from last year, 2010. You gotta love the pride & joy written all over his face! I mean, Jonah is SUPER AWESOME in his fun costume!! Plus, it looks like the "Animated Series" version of Robin, so that's cool too.



Next up is another Batman Fan & this guy's name is Chris. He's a 4th grade teacher in Kansas. This photo was from Halloween last year when he surprised the kids by dressing up as the Dark Knight. Oh man, can you imagine their faces when they all saw BATMAN enter the classroom, ha! Oh yeah, as a last minute thing I thought I would show a close-up photo of his Custom Bat-Belt, it's got some great detailing. Oh Man, HALLOWEEN is just a few days away!! So, to celebrate, all week we're posting some fun photos sent in by Loyal BAT-BLOG Readers who wanted to share their Batman Halloween Costume Pictures. The response to sending us pics has been completely wonderful and we really appreciate it!



Shown here are some older photos sent in by our friend Cully. The 1st one is his Son, as Batman, in a classic pose delivering a punch to the Joker, ha! The next few pics are Cully & he has been many different variations of Batman over the years. There's a "Movie Version" that's great! That "Batman Beyond" version is insane! Long time BAT-BLOG Fans all know our Good Buddy DESMOND. This cool little kid is a HUGE Batman Fan! Well, we have two wonderful things to report: Desmond now has a Little Brother, named John, and for Halloween this year they are both gonna be the DARK KNIGHT!! Check out these fun pics! For decades, especially around Halloween, Little Kids have all begged their Moms if they could Please, PLEASE! BE BATMAN OR ROBIN! Here are some great examples of some very fun costumes:

The 1st pic shows an extremely cool kid named Evan & last year, 2010, HE WAS BATMAN! Up next is a wonderful Vintage Family Photo. This is our friend Bob & he was ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER in 1975! Then, for the last photo, and I'm not quite sure what year it is ( looks 1960's ) are two kids ( Brothers? ) who both became The Dark Knight!! Oh Yeah, we're really excited about Halloween this year & thanks to many BAT-BLOG Reader Submissions we will be posting extremely cool BATMAN AND ROBIN Halloween Costume pics all week! Some photos are recent & many are totally vintage. Here's a nice example of both.

The 1st pic was sent in by our friend John. Back in 1992 he & his Wife were the Caped Crusader and Catwoman, MEOW! It looks like they had a great time & the costumes look awesome! ( Thanks John )

Next up, is a wonderful photo from our friend Richard who lives in England! This picture was taken last year at Halloween. Richard was dressed-up as Batman & you see him here holding his Daughter, Brooke. She's precious & this photo is sweet. ( Thanks Richard & please tell Brooke we said, "Happy Halloween!" )

Here are some great examples of EXTREMELY COOL Vintage Photos! The 1st one is from our Friend Joey. These 2 images show him and his Wife from when they were both little kids. I totally love these, they're so AWESOME! He was Batman & she was Batgirl, how cool is that?!

The next pic was sent in by our good buddy Marc. This was his "Robin, The Boy Wonder" Halloween Costume from back in 1974. It seems like a lot of BATMAN Fans are getting ready for Halloween! Here are 2 photos recently sent in to the Bat-Blog showing some "Dark Knight" holiday spirit. Pics - BATMAN, JOKER and SUPERHERO COSPLAY at French Comic Con!

Recently, the BAT-BLOG.COM was sent some wonderful photos shared from a Cosplayer in France. His name is Niko & he's shown here as the Joker. His Son also made an appearance at the event as the "Little Dark Knight", BATMAN! In the last photo we get to see some of his friends in Superhero Costumes too & they're all really great! Sarah is Supergirl, William is Batman , Sabrina is Catwoman , and Julien is Green Lantern. It's so cool that the French love comics! In a future post we plan on posting some pictures Niko had sent of his amazing Batman Toy Collection. So, look for them soon. In the mean time, I wanna thank Niko for these great Cosplay pics!

BATMAN LIVE - COSTUMES and STAGE DESIGN - Wallpaper Backgrounds

We're excited! The Bat-Blog just got some awesome new photos showing the costumes and set design for the UK stage show of BATMAN LIVE WORLD ARENA TOUR!! They were very large pics so I decided to offer them as super-fun BATMAN LIVE WALLPAPERS you can use to brighten your desktop's background. All the photos are pretty much self-explanatory! The 1st one shows the costumes for some of the characters: The Joker, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Batman, Robin, Riddler, The Penguin, & Poison Ivy. The next wallpaper features just Batman and Robin, but it shows a lot of details to their costume design. Last, but not least, the final photo shows what the "Gotham City" Set Design of the Stage will look like. So, which costume is your favorite?
