BATMAN and VAL KILMER At The 2011 SUPERNOVA POP CULTURE EXPO in Australia!

Last Saturday, November 5th, the 2011 SUPERNOVA POP CULTURE EXPO went on in Brisbane, Australia. Our friend "Batdag" was there dressed-up as the Dark Knight and recently he shared some amazing photos with us. As you can see his Bat-Suit Costume is pretty amazing. It seems like everybody loves Batman! Speaking of that character, he also got to meet the Guest of Honor, Val Kilmer!! Yeah, it was sort of like "Batman Meets Batman" ( check out the last photo ). Another cool factor of the festivities were all the great Cosplay people. There costumes are always very cool to see. I wanna thank Batdag for sharing his wonderful pics. BATYY HALLOWEEN - Robin and The Riddler in Battle!

RIDDLE ME THIS, "What is it that no man wants to have, yet no man wants to lose ?" Answer: A Lawsuit! Ha Ha! Sorry, I had to do a wacky riddle because this next group of pictures feature the Riddler! Yes, Gotham City has recently been threatened by the Prince of Puzzles. But wait! Robin is on the case & ready to fight crime! What will happen next?!

These fun pics were sent in by our friend Jessica to share the Halloween Costumes that her & her friend Linh made this year. Jessica is Robin & Linh is the Riddler! Both costumes are totally great! NEW BATMAN COLLECTIBLES - Wonderful BATGIRL and CATWOMAN PULLIP DOLLS From JAPAN!

POW! Here are 2 brand-new Bat-Collectibles to keep an eye out for because they're both extremely cool! I mean, I totally love these!! Here are BATGIRL and CATWOMAN Dolls made by Pullip Toys of Japan. These awesome Japanese Toys were sold as an EXCLUSIVE at the 2011 San Diego Comic Con! But don't worry, they're also being sold online & finding them is pretty easy. They retail for around $130.00 each. In one photo you can see their nice Display Boxes. The dolls are really great. I like their big heads ( ha ha ) & the costumes are wonderful. Also, the very last photo shows 2 variations that were EXCLUSIVES in Japan only. They were sold at the "Wonder Festival" & are limited to 400 pieces each. Personally, I like the SDCC versions better because their hair color is more accurate.

DESMOND Models His New BATMAN T-SHIRT From Old Navy!

Late last night we got some wonderful photos in our email box from our very best super friend, Desmond! He's shown here modeling a brand new BATMAN T-Shirt he got recently at Old Navy. His Mom said, "Old Navy has been carrying Batman merchandise on a regular basis now and I continue to find great tees there."


In the next photo we see Desmond wearing his favorite Bat-Mask! His Mom said, "This kid is obsessed with the bat! We also found a Batman ski mask for adults that he has been wearing for a week now...we are lucky to get him to take it off for dinner and bedtime. He gets that mask on and runs around whispering in a spooky tone "I'm Batman". We think it's quite possible he thinks he really is Batman!"

Brand-New BATMAN and JOKER FUNKO Toys For 2011!

I'm pretty excited to mention here that FUNKO TOYS will be releasing some brand-new toys & products towards the end of 2011 that involve Batman and the Joker! First, in October, they will release a pair of BATMAN and JOKER Wacky Wobbler Bobble-Head Nodder Figures. They both look great and I love the Vintage Silver-Age Style!



Next, FUNKO has come up with a totally new product called "BLOX Figures" and you gotta admit, they're very very different! These toys have a strange "blocky" look. They will be making ones of Batman and Joker. Look for these around November, 2011.



Oh yeah, that second photo of the Batman Blox Figure in the Box is a special 2011 San Diego Comic Con Exclusive that has "metallic" paint & limited to 480 pieces.

Here's a quick post to share some news about a brand-new Batman Toy & it comes in 2 variations. Bat-Reporter, Batmobilly, spotted this new DC SUPER FRIENDS Fisher Price SHAKE N' GO MR FREEZE CAR ( made by Mattel ) at a Target Store & then later noticed it comes in 2 different colors. Now, I'm not one of those obsessed "Completest Collectors" who buys every variation of everything but I thought this news would be worthy as far as picking out a favorite color ( I like the lighter colored car better ). Check this out! here's some photos sent in by our friend Christopher. He recently went on the retail store toy hunt & came across these 2 cool Batman items ( Thanks Chris! )



The 1st pic shows a new variation on the new 2011 HOTWHEELS "MONSTAR JAM BATMOBILE" 2-Car Set by Mattel. The picture on the left is the one from last year and the one on the right shows the new packaging. Plus, it looks like the "1989 Diecast Batmobile" is slightly different.



Next up is a fan favorite. Here's a Fisher Price TRIO DC SUPER FRIENDS Action Figure 2-Pack Set with Clayface & Batman ( Who is "covered with mud", ha ha! ). I totally love these bat-toys!

BATMAN The Lazarus Syndrome - New BBC Audio CD

This is not really a review, because I have not even seen this new product in real life yet, but it is more of an announcement of a brand-new product. This is a brand-new BBC AUDIO CD with a Radio Show of a Classic BATMAN Adventure titled "The Lazarus Syndrome". Any Bat-Fan will recognize, from the title, that this story MUST involve R'as Al Ghul. Yes, that's the main focus of the play. This show was originally created back in 1989 & this is the 1st time it's been released. One thing that's both great ( & kinda sad ) is that the "Alfred" character is voiced by Michael Gough. He was the original Actor who played that part in the early Batman films & he just recently passed away. So, it's a wonderful way to enjoy his work again. On a personal note, I have always loved his variation on Alfred so it will be cool to hear. New 2011 BATMAN Plastic Model Kits By Moebius - Tumbler Batmobile and Bat-Pod Motorcycle

Shown here are a few prototype pics of 2 Brand-New BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT Movie Plastic Model Kits that will be released by Moebius Models near the end of September, 2011. They're gonna make a Tumbler Batmobile ( 1:25 Scale ), a Bat-Pod Motorcycle( 1:25 Scale ),and a Set of 3 Figures ( no photos on those yet ).
