Awhile back we reported that a lot of Retail Stores are starting to throw-away their promo materials for the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game and you better try to score some while you can! This is just a quick post to share a very cool photo that was taken at the recent BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game Launch at the Toys-R-Us Store in Times Square, NYC. It shows Jim Lee ( DC Comics ), Some Guy Who Worked on the Game ( Rocksteady ), Batman ( Life-Size Statue ), and Kevin Conroy ( Batman Voice Actor ). That special statue, probably made just for the event, is extremely cool. That thing would look awesome in my Kitchen or Bathroom!

The BAT-BLOG reported awhile back about all the many different BATMAN SKINS that are going to be made available for the BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Video Game. This is where you download a code that will allow you to change the look of the character. There are even some different versions for ROBIN, CATWOMAN, & we expect more! But for now, here's a video that shows an example of what the "70's BATMAN SKIN" looks like! Now, this is one of my favorite versions of Batman, so I think it's pretty cool to see! In fact, it's extremely AWESOME!!

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY - Video Game Event at TOYS-R-US Times Square NYC

If you're lucky enough to live New York then this event is for you! Yes, 500 copies of BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game will be available a day early at THE TIMES SQUARE Toys-R-Us location on Monday, October 17th ( that's about 5 days from now ). The first 100 customers who pre-purchase a copy of the game through the store's "Personal Shopping Department" ( starting now, don't wait ), will receive a coupon reserving their copy, and can have their game autographed by Jim Lee ( DC Comics ), Kevin Conroy ( Voice Actor of Batman ) and Sefton Hill ( Rocksteady Studios ) at the event. The other 400 copies will be available for purchase at the event, which officially starts at 4:00 pm, but who knows when people start lining up? The event will include photo ops with actors dressed up as Batman and Catwoman, and game demos.

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY - Advertising Propaganda Spotted in Mexico City!

Check out these cool photos sent in by our friend Diego, who lives in Mexico City. He said that 2 guys were spotted the other night driving around town in a pick-up truck with "Gotham City Police Department" graphics on the side. In the back was a huge projector & they went around projecting a few images onto the sides of buildings. They included: The BAT-SYMBOL LOGO, The BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Logo ( with Release Date ), and one for the RIDDLER announcing the Riddler's Mexican Twitter Account, @3NIG_MA. Wow! How cool is that?! ( Muchas Gracias, Diego! )

And there is also something about hearing the verbal exchanges between Kevin Conroy's Batman and Mark Hamill's Joker. For longtime fans of "Batman The Animated Series" this is something to enjoy. Batman: Akrham City will launch on October 18, 2011 for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360. It will also be released in a PC Game version.
